YONGIN EVERLAND THEME PARK

Yongin Everland Theme Park is South Korea’s largest theme park opened in 1976 and ranked top ten in the world for amusement park attendance. ย Along with its main attractions, Everland also includes a zoo and a water park known as Caribbean Bay.

Everland is operated by Samsung Everland, which is a subsidiary of the Samsung Group.

Global Fair is primarily a place for food, souvenirs and pictures as visitors make their way in and out of Everland park.ย  There are many shops, restaurants as well as special services such as stroller rental and lockers.

Zoo-Topia

Zoo-Topia is an animal themed section.ย  There is a petting zoo, pony rides, and animal shows.ย  There is also a small zoo with polar bears, sea lions, penguins, bears, tigers and various primates.

A safari bus ride is available which shows animals such as tigers and bears roaming in a contained habitat. The visitors are caged up in the bus.

Amazon Express is a raft ride, where most visitors get wet to varying degrees.

European Adventure has many restaurants in various European styles. The architecture imitates different European styles.ย  There is a big flower garden encircled by a train, games and arcades.

Magic land is an elaborate array of buildings and rides.ย  There is a portion called Aesop’s Village where the characters and themes are primarily drawn from the fables of Aesop. ย The Ferris wheel here provides a spectacular view of the whole park.ย  There is also a log ride, a futuristic flying ride, and a robot ride.

T Express the Wooden Roller Coaster.

The T Express, debuted in 2006, is the first wooden roller coaster and the largest in South Korea.ย  The T Express is the 6th longest wooden roller coaster in the world at 5,838 feet long.ย  It is also the steepest, with the first drop inclined at 77 degrees.

T Express is all made of wood.

American Adventure is the Themes from American history and are presented in this section of the park.ย  There are 2 Wild West rides, including the “Eagle’s Fortress” thrill ride, and the Rodeo.

In Rock Ville the theme is the 1950’s and its music scene.ย  The Double Rock Spin is a main attraction as live bands play near the Rolling X-Train, a roller coaster located within the park.

      They are ok. No problem during our trip. The local Korean tour guide is very good.
