The Wing Hotel we stay is small, clean and nice, located near 中正纪念堂, very convenience.

Wish u hv a nice trip to Taiwan.

Hi! I found that your blog is really helpful with the interesting photo of every spots in it 🙂

    1. Btw, may i know how did you go to Ruifang station from Taipei Main Station? did you use TRA?

    2. If you use TRA, is there any train timetable from Taipei Main Station to Ruifang station? I planned to start going into TRA to Ruifang station around 7.30AM , but i dont know whether the train comes very frequent or need to wait for an hour…?

    3. Can i just tap my EASYCARD to board into TRA to Ruifang station? Do i get the seat? or in need to purchase the ticket at Taipei Main Station counter, so i could get a seat? because i heard the journey i approx.50minutes. It would be tired if must stand up for that long.

    4. When you went to Jinguashi, is the bus stop (return way) easy to found? I plan to go from Jinguashi to Jiufen , but which bus number could i get into to reach Jiufen?

    5. Also, if my last stop is Jiufen, is there any public transport to going back to Ruifang station?

Hope to hear from you soon.
    Thanks! 🙂

    Lee

    • January 22, 2017 at 6:59 PM

And also, is there any taxi in Jinguashi? so, if i missed out the bus, i could ask the taxi to go to Jiufen? How much is the fare if you know?

      Thanks ya 🙂

    • January 22, 2017 at 11:25 PM

      Thanks for visiting our blog.
      1. Yes, we took train from Taipei Main Station to Ruifang station.
      2. Yes, they do hv timetable at the station.
      3. I’m not sure about the Easycard, you may need to check at the counter. For the seat is first come first serve basis, same as taking MRT.
      4. Yes, the bus stop is just outside the Jingushi Museum. I can’t really remember the bus number.
      5. Yes, take the same bus number will send you back to Ruifang station. That time we took taxi, NT$100.
      6. The distance between Jinguashi and Jiufen is about 10mins drive.

Our 2nd trip to Jiufen was engaged a driver cum tour guide, we are managed to go Jiufen old street, Jingushi museum, Golden waterfall, YingYang Sea, Shifen train station to light up the sky lantern and Shifen waterfall in a day.

If you are well manage of your visiting time, you can also cover Yeliu in a day.
Wishing you hv a good trip to Taiwan.

Hi! thanks so much for your quick reply ya! 🙂 Your information helps me a lot in time management for my one-day trip 😀

        – So, about the TRA , can i purchase the ticket in advance like one day or one week before? can use Tzechuang train (i heard journey is 30minutes) isnt it?

        – Also, when you went to Shifen from Ruifang, did you purchase the Shifen line train ticket at the counter or use EASYCARD?

        Thank you so much!
        Lee

        Hi!
Really thanks so much for your train timetable URL link.
        – So, basically there is lots of TRA from Taipei Main Station going to Ruifang Station, isnt it? – But i still need to go to the ticketing counter in Taipei Main Station to purchase the ticket and reserve a seat or can easily tap my EASYCARD before boarding Tze-chuang train?
        – Which one is better according to your opinion between using EASYCARD or purchase the ticket directly at the counter? Maybe just go straight away to the ticket counter so can get a seat number also right? Is the queue long? Can i buy on the spot? Or should i purchase earlier like one day before? I plan to go on Monday morning around 7 to 7.30AM from Taipei Main Station 😀
        – As for the train to Jingtong line, the frequency is every an hour from Ruifang station, isnt it? 😀
        – Do you purchase the ticket again to Shifen station or can tap EASYCARD to Jingtong line?
Thanks so much for your quick and kind responses >.< And sorry for asking you lots of questions. Have a great Monday blues 🙂
