We are so happy, because our Easy-cards still can be use.  Even our previous trip records are still there when we check the trip record from the self-help terminal.  We just top up the value at the self-help machine.

The new Easy-card can be purchased at MRT control station, NT200 which has NT100 value in the card.  NT100 is refundable upon return of the card.  The procedure is very simple, same as what we are doing in Singapore (Ez-link Card) or Hong Kong (Octopus Card).

HOTEL

After compare with the hotel at Ximending area, in term of value, the room size and the convenience, we are preferred Wing Hotel 雲鼎商務旅店 at www.winghotel.com.tw.  We like the big room size (baby can run around in the room), the price is reasonable, we extremely like their big heart-shape bathtub and is only 3mins walk from the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall Station Exit The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Four-four South Village also known as Xinyi Public Assembly Hall is located in Xinyi District, Taipei Songqin Street.  It was built in 1948 and is believe to be first military family dependents’ village in Taiwan.  Due to the land development policies and military community economic development and reconstruction of the Xinyi district, residents have gradually moved out of it.
